“You will have your reward, Wormtail. I will allow you to perform an essential task for me, one that many of my followers would give their right hands to perform…” Who is speaking?

Voldemort is the one speaking.

You are The Lovers

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse.

The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made.

Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that’s actually more apt than “Lovers.” Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can’t understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.

…..and you may call me a bad blogger, but well this is my blog and I’ll blog if I want to….;-)

I have completed a couple of things while I have been away as well as picking up some old projects that I would like to get finished. I have also had my first result off a Healthy Lifestyles course that I joined so I am really pleased with that. I have also signed up for some courses – I hopefully will be excepted on one of them to start in September.

So to start with the completed items. While I loved the little bear (my nephew named him Blue)that I made I wasn’t exactly happy with his size. He was meant to be 2 1/2 inches tall – and after measuring him (I guessed when I said he was 3 in) I found him to be 4 in tall. I know this isn’t a great increase but still…

So I started and finished a new one, and here he is

I named him Bell (Blue & Bell….Bluebell) He is 3 1/4 in tall. I love the fact that he is so tiny, however I still think that Blue’s face was nicer, so I may go back to the drawing board yet. I am thinking of making them and selling them on Etsy or EBay and donating the proceeds to charity, but we will see how that goes.

Next on the list of finished items is my first scarf square for the Lime and Violet Scarf circle. I wanted something that was quite pretty so I chose the Pointelle stitch from Lion brand. Mine doesn’t look exactly the same (something wrong with the Yarn Over), but I am pleased anyway. I must have frogged it a million times due to not concentrating on the pattern, so I was so pleased when it was finished. I sent it off to the recipient, and have been told that the next piece of scarf is on it’s way to me…Squeeee.

So since I have so much finished I decided to pick up the Drop Stitch Vest again. I am about 3 in into it and I have to do 24 in in total. I am also dying to cast on the Wristlings from the loopy ewe stash that I had a couple of weeks ago. I have also received my order from J L Yarnworks, the yarn is so pretty and is destined to be my first pair of socks. I want to make a pair of Monkeys.
I have been participating in a Healthy Lifestyle course. I think I am on my 6th week. I have really been noticing the difference. Although so far I have not lost any weight my body shape has definitely been changing, but this week I lost 4lbs. Yay I am so pleased.
Another exciting development is that I have applied for 2 degree courses through work. One is Youth and Community Studies and the other is Education and Childhood Studies. I hope that I will be excepted on to one of them. I like both of the courses equally so will be quite happy to do either of them.
So that is it for this post and I will try to update soon……..

Today is the first day of the Easter break and I have done nothing but slob around and …….KNIT, well actually crochet to be precise, but I was craftin’ with fibre never the less.

I finished my mini crochet thread bear and although I am really proud I finished him, I am a little disappointed in his height. He was meant to be around 2in in height, but ended up around 3in. I have decided to make a sibling for him but use a smaller hook to reduce the height.

I also cast on the back of my drop stitch vest. I have complete around 4.5 in so far (I need to make it 24in long) so I am a 6th of the way to finishing it. Hopefully I will have finished it by Monday. We are going to see hubbys family so it would be nice if I could wear it then.

Those of you who have noticed a theme, I am *trying* to finish all my UFO’s. I have some gorgeous yarn from the loopy ewe that I am dieing to cast on, as well as some etsy yarn on the way. I want to make some Monkey socks with the etsy yarn – they will be my first socks, but I want to try and get rid of some of the other UFO’s first. It is an incentive…..I suppose.

Take a look at this cute kitten site. If you go back a couple of days you will find this picture…

I joked that this was my cat…Until I took this picture of my cat. After seeing how wide she is, she is so going on a diet.

No more treats for you baby!

There is not much to tell in this post – Life is conspiring against me and hasn’t allow me to knit for the past few days/weeks/months/years….OK so I am exaggerating, but it feels that way!

On the up side after some spare time tonight I finished the nurse doll for my friend. I hope she likes it.

I also had my swag from the Loopy Ewe. I have never been so impressed with service before. I got my items…
which I am so happy with, I also got a nice note from Sheri and a needle inventory list and some yarn samples. I was so happy. Although this might not be the cheapest way for my to purchase my stash, I will definitely be back just because the service is good.
Well the end of the L&V Pr0n exchange is almost over. I have posted off my box today. I really hope my sendee likes what I have included. I really hope that everyone stays in touch after the exchange. This was my first swap and I really feel lucky to have such excellent partners.
Ah well bedtime…..
